Reasons to attend the camp:

1. Meet new friends at Glen Eden Resort
2. Fun activities: ride the gondola to the top of Mt. Werner, shopping in Steamboat Springs, river rafting and swimming to name a few.
3. Tour the Craig Power Plant, Trapper Coal Mine and a solar farm.
4. Learn about electric cooperatives and legislative processes. Form a cooperative.

Applications are being accepted for the 2024 camp, July 13th through the 18th.

Encourage your high school Sophomores and Juniors to apply for this opportunity to spend a week in beautiful Clark, Colorado. Camp expenses are paid by Wheatland REA (except personal "shopping" money)!  The applicant's parent or guardian must be a member of Wheatland REA to qualify.

Students must attend the Leadership Camp to be eligible for the Youth Leadership Tour to Washington DC the following summer.
